Junior Golf

Aspetuck Valley is very proud to host one of the largest Junior Golf Programs in the northeast. There are a wide variety of fun and exciting programs that have been built around developing junior golfers of all ages and ability levels.

The goal of our Junior Golf Program is to provide a fun and safe learning experience while offering quality golf coaching to juniors of varying ages and skill levels. We focus on proper technique, etiquette, rules, sportsmanship, honesty, integrity, and most importantly fun. Our programs utilize golf as a learning tool in a fast-paced and energetic environment. We look to develop self-esteem and positive life skills while educating our children on the traditions of the game.

Tennis

Aspetuck has 10 beautifully maintained Har-Tru courts and 1 all purpose court. Five lighted courts allows for play after dusk. We also have tennis bubble that covers 2 har tru courts. Our tennis shop is fully stocked with all the latest gear and equipment. Our USPTA certified staff is always ready to assist you, whether it be a tennis lesson, or a pick-up game.

Our members are very active tennis players with more than 250 families participating in the program. We currently have 4 Ladies' Teams participate in the Fairfield County Women's Tennis League (FCWTL) and 3 Men's Team participating in the Fairfield County Tennis League (FCTL).

Some of the successful tennis events include: Women's and Men's Pro-Am, Member-Guests (in our ladies' member-guest more than 25 teams participate), Adults' and Juniors' Singles and Doubles Club Championships and Social Tennis Nights ("Hawaiian Night" and "Preppy Night").

We also run an in-house league for men and women on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Currently 47 men and 44 women are participating.

The Tennis Courts are open for play between 6:30 am and 10:00 pm from Monday - Sunday and the shop hours are 8:00 am until 6:00 pm every day.

Platform Tennis

Our luxurious Paddle Hut is nestled around 4 perfectly maintained lighted courts. We are extremely proud of our active paddle program as has become one of the best programs on the East Coast.

More than 150 members are actively involved in our program. We currently participate with other teams in the Fairfield County paddle leagues, including, 
  • Fairfield County Women's Platform Tennis League (FCWPTL), 
  • Fairfield County Platform Tennis League (FCPTL), 
  • Fairfield County Thursday Night "A" League (FCTNL), 
  • Fairfield Platform Tennis League (FPTL), 
  • Jr. Platform Tennis Travel Team League (JPTTTL). 
We also run several social events and tournaments during the season, including an in-house league with more than 100 men participants and 40 women. 

Aspetuck is also the host of the Connecticut State Mixed Doubles Platform Tennis Tournament every January.
Our Summer Camp is licensed with the State of Connecticut and offers a full day of activities for young ones between the ages of 3 and 10.

Aspetuck Valley Country Club (AVCC) Dolphin swim and dive teams participate in the Fairfield County Swim League (FCSL) during the summer.

Fun, rather than competition, has been the objective of the Aspetuck swim and dive teams from its inception. Fun for the children, fun for their families, and even fun for the coaches and staff of the member clubs. Dual meets often end with a cookout or social gathering of some sort. In addition to fun, the team's objectives include providing an opportunity to encourage the development of skills, and a sense of self-worth and pride, coupled with life lessons in the importance of team work and the ability to win and to lose with grace and dignity.

The Aspetuck Dolphins have enjoyed the support of parents on the deck as volunteers and as positive role models for our children. 

The swim and dive programs are open to all members 6 to 17 years of age.
